The Film Society of Minnesota begins it’s Asian Film Festival, “In Search Of Asia”, tonight at the St. Anthony Main Theater in Minneapolis. 30 films, 12 countries, though November 13. I will Emcee the Opening Night festivities tonight (11/3), introducing the director of the opening night film “That Girl in Yellow Boots”, Anurag Kashyap. A diverse balance of full length features, anime, documentaries, and short films in all genres, the festival is a perfect addition for film lovers in an increasingly diverse Twin Cities population. Join us tonight and, by all means, see as many of these fine films as you can.
